Dr. Mark Greene
Owner & DVM
Mark Greene Owner & DVM After graduating from Auburn in June 1993, I quickly opened this practice in 1994. I had such a drive to help with veterinary care in this area. This is where I grew up and always continued to hold a special place in my heart. I enjoy on placing such a emphasis on preventative care, its so important for our pets to live a long and healthy life so I enjoy giving people those tools to ensure those pets are safe and protected. I also find great pleasure in treating a sick animal and seeing it become well, knowing I had the ability to use the knowledge I have obtained to assure an owner and help a pet to become better. Personal: I enjoy working on my farm, and spending time and caring for my many animals. I also enjoy spending time with my son and his many sporting activities. I also am a proud father of three daughters who attend college, that I enjoy catching up with and spending weekends with.
Dr. Melanie Greene
Owner & DVM
Melanie Greene Owner & DVM, I have been with Country Hills from the beginning! I specialize in soft tissue surgery and dental. I feel like you can’t take care of animals well without really loving the people that they mean so much to. I love that people allow us to share in their lives by allowing us to care for their precious furry family members! Our pets give us so much joy. By helping them stay healthy or feel better when they are sick, I feel like I can bring joy to each person or family we meet. Easing fears or comforting in loss also gives us a deep connection. In my free time I like to spend time on our farm with our dogs, cats and my son’s activities. I love hiking, traveling to spend time with our grown daughters, church activities reading, and any land sport.
To the families we serve,
There is nothing better than helping raise a happy, well-adjusted dog or cat and being able to care for that pet throughout his or her life! Our community is so close knit, and we have been blessed to share in so many lives over the years. We treasure the friendships we have made and each person who enters into our County Hills family.

Together, they enjoy playing outdoors, watching movies, and playing video games. They are active members of Little Paint First Church of God. Dr. Newsom loves to read when she has a spare moment to herself.

Dr. Kate Webb
DVM, MPH, GradCert(BioDefense)
Dr. Webb grew up in Flatgap, Kentucky, and graduated from Johnson Central High School. She attended Morehead State University to earn her Bachelor’s in Veterinary Science.
